An Internet Marketing Plan created by you for your business

Elyse Here,

Lack of an internet marketing plan for your small business at its inception may cause trouble when you attempt to promote it. Internet marketing is quite difficult and is more complicated than just putting keywords in the content of your site. The eight key stages to preparing an internet marketing plan: Strategic preparation, analyzing the situation, Studying the Customer, Paying attention to the Product and Market, Placing your product, Pricing Plan, Product Allocation and Online Advertisement. I made this killer while searching cost per action networks, sorry back to the steps.

Phase One: Strategic Preparation. Some key factors need to be taken into consideration, when promoting your business online. Question yourself to identify your skill. You can find out the advantages your business has over your competitors, by ascertaining the ways your business is better than them.

Stage Two: Getting a clear picture of the situation... This involves gathering information about the market you operate in. You can undertake various studies for this purpose such as SWOT analysis, studying the industry and competition analysis. The more you know about the industry you are in and how you can succeed in it, the better.

Phase Three: Studying the Customer.... In this phase you would have to gain an understanding of your customers. Is it possible for you to efficiently promote yourself to someone whom you know nothing about? Creating a working marketing impact would require that you know their likes, dislikes, hobbies, jobs, family life, etc. It is true that some businesses contrive characters which play the part of the intended customer and then design a marketing strategy for them.

Phase Four: Paying attention to the Product and Market... In this step you segment your market and take steps to make sure your company is distinct from the competition. This is also called the "Unique Selling Point" or "USP".

Phase Five: Placing your product. Simply put, when a person hears a company name, certain thoughts come to mind. What thoughts would you want an individual to have when someone says the name of your company? A thought must be given to this aspect. Knowing how to position your business in your customers mind is imperative. In case you still haven't gained knowledge about the 4 Ps of marketing, you must do the same now. They are product, position, promotion and price.

Step Six: How to price? Moreover, it is one of the four Ps of marketing. You need to know how to effectively price your goods or services. Figuring out what your competition is charging is a good method to adopt. Undercutting their prices is essential if you have recently joined the business.

Phase Seven: Product Allocation.... This is the second P in the 4 P's of marketing, also known as position. It is the corporeal spot where your product or service is present. And yeah, having an online business means your position is the internet.

Phase Eight: Online Advertisement. This is how you are going to advertise your business on the internet. Different methods used for advertising are available in abundance; for example, pay per click advertising, newsletters, search engines and article marketing. Experiment with each of them and try to find what best suits your business.

You can certainly use the provided information to create an internet marketing plan for your business.

Now it is time to get back to CPA MArketing and CPA Maketing Networks. I wanted to make this little post while we are waiting for The Commission PayLoad to be released.
